Facebook will make General Motors four-wheel / General Motors pondrá a Facebook sobre cuatro ruedas

The automaker General Motors is in testing phase "OnStar", the vehicle communications system that will inter alia listen to messages and Facebook updates sms voice.

This is undoubtedly the first attempt to integrate the auto industry social networking and bring the car as a new add-on to succeed in a few years might be usual in all new vehicles newly manufactured.

The milestone could come from the hand of the integration of Facebook''Places''next to this new communications system, as the union between the OnStar GPS and geolocation could give the final push to the service network geolocation social. However, this integration will have to wait a little longer since it seems that General Motors is currently far focused only on content.

Simultaneously, General Motors also is testing a new application through which voice to listen to the SMS received by drivers on their mobile devices, allowing to answer through a series of predefined responses.

Everything seems that the launch of these new applications respond to a marketing strategy in response to his closest rivals. Including Ford Motor Company previously partnered with Microsoft Corp to launch "Sync", the new connectivity system for vehicles.

General Motors takes a step forward with this new proposal that could revolutionize the world of motor turn helping to increase sales, using the pull and the rise of the media and social networks like facebeook.
