No matter if our client has a web site or not "official." If we get leads we must create a landing page with the items that you expect. Whether your "landing" from a share of e-mailing, SEM or SEO, content and message of the landing page must be specific for each of the cases, ie for each user based on profile. In this sense, the use of landing pages to modify and optimize the content very fast and flexible offering an excellent range of adaptation to the needs of each user.

1. Adapt the graphics and language to the target audience you are targeting. Because we always target our traffic, we will always know if your product appeals to men and women, young people or adults. Therefore, the graph of the landing pages will not be equal to an audience of 20 to 25 years, students who for one between 45 and 50, professionals. Likewise, we must not forget that the graphics and language should also suit the customer and the product concerned.

2. Simple form, attractive sight. In any marketing must be clear where we want to prosecute to the user. Thus, we are interested in complete form data, and therefore it is necessary to make it easy. In this sense, the form must always be visible and if possible showing in the first screenshot of the landing page. It is important to note that the quality of the records depends on the number of fields to complete. We have to evaluate which option is the one we want. The more fields, the more information we get and therefore more qualified to have records, but will have less of it.

Experience shows that reducing the number of fields in a form works. We have several success stories in this regard. In one of them started the campaign with a form of 11 fields, and later reduced it to 6 and in this way we can improve conversion by 43%. And if you have a bit of view, the move can be even better: we deliver 8 customer data from the user, but he completed only 6. "Magic? Not exactly ... The postal code and town became a province.

3. The call to action or click-to-action should be as clear as possible. It is very advisable to have button-like and to give messages such as "sign here" or "request information." If this is the most important button in the landing will be reinforced chromatically. 3D effects, gradients, lighting, shadows, borders, they are all valid resources to attract user attention.

Similarly, it is significant "no" button to look at anything that does not produce an action. There is nothing more frustrating for the user to press something that "does nothing". The result is mistrust and confusion, factors that cause the user closes the browser, with the consequence that we lose the lead.

4. Build user confidence. It is important that you feel tucked and secure. In this sense we must take every opportunity we have at our disposal to achieve this goal. On the one hand, if our action is on a familiar brand is recommended to show it, make it very visible. On the other hand, if we have certifications or are backed by a prestigious body must also communicate and highlighted.

5. Friendly navigation. Be especially careful with broken links, design of square or confusing navigation. When the user asks questions such as Have I done something wrong and so my click does not cause a reaction?, Is broken link?, Is not the browser works fine? is something we have not adjusted properly. This puzzles the user, generates mistrust and in most cases leads to loss of leads.

6. Establish a consistent reading order: title, subtitle, content and form, taking into account that the user will start reading from top to bottom and from left to right.
We locate in the first screenshot of the landing (avoiding the vertical scroll), the most important because it is very important that you see first hand, the form. Above all, it is crucial to avoid horizontal scrolling.

7. Review the design in all browsers. Beyond that we love Firefox or Chrome, reality and what the statistics say is the most widely used browser remains Explorer. What appear divine in any of the first two, can be a disaster in Explorer or even by a barcode label properly closed, you may receive a beautiful blank page.

8. Proper use of color. Not by design a landing page that looks like a rainbow, call the user's attention, if not that it actually scared ... A good technique is to pick a dominant color for the main picture and look at the most two or three complementary colors.

9. Easily modified. It is essential that the landing pages are easy to change because, as we mentioned above, must be constantly updated according to the characteristics and needs of users. In this sense it is elementary to change a message, color, detail design, elements that can be crucial in generating leads, quickly and effectively, avoiding spending hours and hours.

10. Be creative without distracting. You must call the attention of the user, of course, but not distracting. There is a chasm between boredom and distraction, both extremes can cause loss of leads. So, without extravagance, through creativity, we need to performing in terms of balance, getting the user to register. To do this we must be clear, make test, show the advantages of the product, the main aspects and the click-to-action.

¿Magia? No exactamente…
