Landing Page

Página de aterrizaje

---

---

In Internet marketing, landing page is called (in English landing pages) to a web page to which a person comes after you have clicked on the link a banner or text ad placed on another web page or portal Internet. In most cases, this website is an extension of the promotion announcement, which explains in more detail the product or service offer that is being promoted through a sales letter.
Also this page is typically optimized for specific key words, in order to get the search engines to index and display correctly when the prospect makes a search by entering key words. This may have different landing pages that promote the same product, but optimized for different keywords, maximizing the chances of getting more potential customers from reaching the bidding page.
Such sites may also be called in other ways as pages jump (jump pages in English). Some people are calling splash pages, but ultimately identifies, in fact, home pages or insert, usually made in Flash as striking that function as electronic toll collection before loading total content or for decorative purposes, persuasive, etc. Recent studies by authors like Jakob Nielsen disqualify the use of splash pages, since users tend to circumvent or abandon the site, if the presentation is poor communication, or too long for loading and viewing.

Other utilities
Test campaigns: Landing pages are also used by marketers to measure the performance of advocacy, 1 before going to market. So prepare different ads and different landing pages and launched a promotional campaign to different groups of customers or prospects, leading each group to a different landing page to check sales conversion each. Then you get better performance measure is being launched in the promotion of large scale.
As published in MarketingSherpa.com Anne Holland, "60% of professionals in the e-mail marketing test respondents prefer marketing campaigns using the split testing A / B on the landing pages." Source: Marketers Reveal Which Email 3.637 Tests Worked Best

Some important features of the Landing Pages, are its flexibility and speed in development. This allows companies to make changes and adjustments to changes in strategic planning.

---

Fuente: 3,637 Marketers Reveal Which Email Tests Worked Best

Investing in social media marketing will grow in 2012

---

---

In 2012, advertising budgets for social networks will experience significant growth, although it seems that social media marketing techniques still have much to do if they want to be really integrated in global strategies.

According to a study conducted by The CMO Survey, a biannual survey is performed to 249 heads of marketing between the months of February and August, social networks will be 10.1% of total marketing budgets in 2012, while this year reach 7.1%.

This growth is because social networks are fast becoming a "major strategic weapon" in the arsenal of marketing and has proven its ability to get customers and interact with them, said Christine Moormam, director of The CMO Survey, as published by Marketing Mag

But when it comes to integrating social media into their marketing strategies in general, much remains to be done. On a scale of 1 to 7, where 1 means "not integrated" and 7 "very integrated" only 12.8% selected the maximum score at the time to respond on how they integrate social networking strategy marketing of their companies.

Another study, by Marketing Sherpa, revealed that 31% of marketers considered that social media are integrated in a limited way with other online and offline activities of their company. Another 26% are widely considered to be integrated.

"Social media is not an addition or an afterthought. Still, even that executives understand it is difficult to think strategically through the vision of social media. It takes time, "said Moorman.

Who's who in the media and social networks?

---

---

In recent days, one thought has been around me in the head constantly. Who's who in social networks?

As I understand, and according to many of the bloggers I follow and read regularly the market today is based on discussions. Agree on that. And the consumer is the new King of Mambo, we all agree on that too.

But it seems to be a gap between what is said and how. Why do I say? I was watching what was supposed to be a conversation, has again become a monologue, the monologue of the company!

Mind you, this is not a generalization. Of course not. There are cases of companies that are doing exceptionally well, but they are few. I want to see you, what they indicate trends, especially in companies that join social networks without guidance, without plan or defined goals, just because it is fashionable and is doing around the world.

What seems to be the goal of these companies are beginning to experiment with social networks? Having many 'fans' or 'followers', which are linked to their business accounts and consume the content, relevant or not, the company generates. The more 'fans' or 'followers' have, since the more successful the campaign. That seems to be the watchword.

You eat it as a user of the mark you made 'fan' or 'follower' produce, presumably for you and there goes the conversation. So it is a monologue: The company offers its content (entertainment, fun, dynamic, bold, innovative, etc.). And you consume.

And I wonder: What is the difference between this and Web 1.0? Are not we supposed to be in the 2.0 environment? Could it be that we are minded 2.0 1.0?

Where is elsewhere?, Where is the user?, Where is the conversation?

In every conversation is an exchange. Interaction. I say something you agree or not, I like what I say or not, you get it or not, but there is always an interaction. The conversation then occurs when you, I've been listening carefully and respectfully (rules of good listener who learned many years ago), then have the opportunity to tell me what you think, think, think, feel, and so on.

That's where the interaction occurs, the exchange: the heart of social networks. How otherwise would it be? It is a social behavior, interaction, exchange, mutual, open, honest and transparent.

That's why I think something is not doing well. Missing company that seeks to 'follow' your customer, be 'fan' of his client. Missing the company is interested in the 'content generated by' your customer. Where was the 'active listening' so much is recommended?

You, as a company, you can learn a lot if you get 'follower' and 'friend' to your customers in social networks. There is much to learn from a consumer who is willing to participate, to interact with you because he knows that now, thanks to the Internet and there are many tools 2.0, has a voice and you as a company and if you wish, you can get to know the truth, truth.

And knowing the truth, you are in a better strategic position to relate to him, offer added value to the relationship, differentiate yourself from your competitors, and build a lasting relationship and mutual benefits.

Now that you approach social media, or if you've been doing for a while, do not forget that this is not your customers will follow you, is that you as a company, follow them to know well.

Have you raised this issue you too, while you have been developing your presence in social media?, Have you bothered to follow your customers or you've just concentrated on making your customers will follow you?

---

Differentiation and added value: The secret that makes SMEs in Big Companies

---

---

I recently came across the headline, "The gazpacho goes for America" summarizing the article, the company Alvalle (Pepsi owns this company) after market 40% of its production in France and Belgium has opted for a new market is the U.S. which is growing obsession with healthy eating.

I guess the readers are thinking "Normal is a great company can allow new markets to achieve, grow, etc ...." But I wonder why we think or why you think that.

Our environment consists of small and medium enterprises are the most jobs, more wealth they generate and those that generate more innovation, in my experience as a consultant I have found companies that develop and design new products that makes a engineer friend, with companies (fewer than 10 employees) that have a higher quality product to its competitors (127 workers) and I find examples of this every day. At the end of all our efforts to achieve their goals.

What is the difference between these companies Alvalle difference (Pepsi)? For the latest plans and studies the market and see what are the opportunities presented to the end achieve the objectives. SMEs can also do the same and not have to spend a fortune on big market research or to identify trends. SMEs have an advantage that large and have no direct contact they have with their customers and that language from you to you who have trouble getting big.

Based on this advantage that SMEs forget is asking its customers to do well or badly, what products or services demand or need, what are the improvements that need our products or services, etc. .. With this little market research, the next step is to do what the larger study the data and plan to achieve the objectives.

Now someone will say, "I can do this but if you need large investments would grow," why fix everything with money?. Another factor to bear in mind that SMEs are flexible and do not lack imagination, why not consider collaborating with other growth companies similar to yours in other cities, provinces or regions. The great do to be deployed in other countries and the formula works for them can be transferred to smaller levels, the level of SMEs, usually two or three paddle farther than one.

These marketing activities are simple and affordable for any SME, the problem that I encounter daily is that SMEs believe that marketing is expensive, it only focuses on communication actions and that is only for large companies all great medium has been small company before and what has grown is the difference (value added) and this is what they forget, if you're not looking for that difference one in the market.

---
